STEPHENVILLE – A graveside service for Floyd Alton McCoy, 80, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 27, at Erath Gardens of Memory with Gary Williams officiating.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Stephenville Funeral Home.
Floyd was born in Chalk Mountain to the late Alton and Allie Mae Herrin McCoy. He married Darlene Young on October 31, 1958 in Stephenville. Darlene preceded him in death on August 8, 2017.
On May 1, 2019, Floyd married Brenda Lee Kissell in Las Vegas. Floyd was a farmer, a member of the Double N Cowboy Church in Dublin, and a lifelong resident of Erath County.
Floyd is survived by his wife, Brenda; 3 children, Carla and husband Randy Forson, Steve and wife Lynette McCoy, and James McCoy and Michelle Benoit all of Stephenville; grandchildren, Joey Shelton, Amanda Folson, Angela Nyetich, Johnny McCoy, Latash Vosburg, Karl Shelton, Jimmy McCoy, Eric McCoy, Kystle Sprinkle; great grandchildren, Aahron, Aubrianna, Jimmy, Jr., Mackenzie, Jayden, Johnny, Jason, Landry, Rilynn, Luis, Jr.; and a great great granddaughter, Wynter.
