STEPHENVILLE - Grant King Elms (“G.K.”) was born March 29, 2019 at 12:45 p.m. and met the eyes of Jesus 17 days later. He died peacefully in the arms of his parents and surrounded by family at Cook Children’s Hospital in Ft. Worth on April 15,2019.
Grant is the son of Conner and Rachel Elms of Stephenville. He is an answer to prayer, and they waited for his birth with joyful anticipation.
During his brief time in his earthly home, Grant experienced holding hands with (and being held by) his Mommy and Daddy, receiving sweet kisses from his family, listening as his Mommy and Daddy sang him songs and prayed with him, and being told “I love you” a countless number of times.
Grant is deeply loved by his Mommy and Daddy, Grandparents, Great-Grandparents, his Aunts and Uncles, his Cousins and all those who anxiously awaited his arrival with excitement. Grant will always remain Conner and Rachel’s precious baby boy, and they will hold him again in heaven one day. Grant’s fighting spirit was an inspiration to everyone that met him, and he will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his parents, Conner and Rachel Elms, his paternal Grandparents, Chick and Cindra Elms, and his maternal Grandparents, Dominic and Jennifer Cinquepalmi, as well as numerous Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.
In lieu of flowers, Conner and Rachel would be honored to have you support Cook Children’s Hospital at 801 7th Avenue, Ft. Worth, TX 76104, as they were an incredible support to Grant and the entire family during our time of need.
Funeral services will be held at Stephenville Funeral Home at 2 p.m. April 20.
There will be a graveside service at Corinth Cemetery immediately following for the family.
