STEPHENVILLE—Graveside services for Willow Dene McGough, 93, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 24, at West End Cemetery with Werth Mayes officiating. Visitation was held Monday at Stephenville Funeral Home.

Dene was born in Stephenville to the late Lieneous Tyra and Eula Belle Stone Suitt.  

She married. M. D. ‘Dan’ McGough on Sept. 3, 1943 in Fort Worth.  Dan preceded her in death on December 6, 1994.  Dene owned and operated a beauty supply store in Stephenville for many years.  She attended the Cowboy Church of Erath County, and was a lifelong resident of Erath County.

Survivors include her daughter, Linda Griffin; and son Dan and wife Joyce McGough; grandchildren, Paul and wife Neida Griffin, Kelly and husband Sal Lazo, and Dorothy Jacobs; grand daughter-in-law, Julie Griffin; great grandchildren, Zane and wife Emily Griffin, Dalton Griffin, Quade Griffin, Jaydi Griffin, Logan Griffin, Bryton Griffin, Katelyn Griffin; Alesha Kovacevich, Kevin Kovacevich, and Sabine Lazo.

Besides her parents and husband, Dene was also preceded in death by a son-in-law, Roy E. Griffin, grandson, Nathion Griffin, brothers, Lloyd Suitt, Carl Suitt, and Marvin Suitt; and sister, Vonzeal Carey.
