STEPHENVILLE—Funeral services for Carlton Claud Hallmark, 86, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 13, at the Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, at the funeral home. Interment will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 15, at DFW National Cemetery.

Carlton was born to Porter Hallmark and Lucille Key Hallmark in the School Hill community. He married Doris Jean Anderson on May 18, 1957 in Stephenville and she recently preceded him in death on Jan. 11, 2017. Carlton served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He went to work for Bell Helicopter in 1965 until his retirement in 1987. Carlton was a member of the Cross Timbers Church of Christ in Stephenville.

Survivors include his daughter, Cindy Hayes and husband Roy of Stephenville; grandchildren, Kristen and Cameron Hayes of Stephenville; brother, Joe Cole of Granbury, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Porter and Lucille Key Hallmark; his wife, Doris Jean Anderson Hallmark; brothers, J.D. Hallmark, and Bob Hallmark; and his sister, Celia Hatley.
