ARLINGTON—Gary Thomas Davis, 61, passed away at his home on April 7, 2016, after a long battle with an illness. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Gary worked at Cash America Pawn until 2007. In 2008 he created his own business, GTD Leatherworks, making one-of-a-kind knives and leather goods. He was multi-talented and loved being creative. He loved to draw, write poems, cook and play guitar.
Gary is survived by his wife of 36 years, Julie Ann Davis of Arlington; son, David Davis; three grandchildren, Shannon, Preston and Kailey of Granbury; mother, Joyce Cotten and sister Jana McCollum of Lingleville; sisters, Beverly Morrison and Sylvana Johnson; brothers, Albert Jay Cotten and Corky Cotten of Stephenville.
He was loved and will be sorely missed.
