I enjoy our City Park as a lot of people do and I try to do my part of picking up trash and putting it in proper containers. I have included a picture of the water crossing in the park. I, as well as others, have tried to remove the limbs and tree branches from the culvert under the park road, but it needs the city to use heavy equipment to remove this trash so the water can flow freely. The way this is now, it is a breeding ground for all kinds of diseases. Kids play and fish in the area and besides, if we got another heavy rain, it would overflow the park road and stop traffic. Is this the image that we want to portray to visitors to the City Park? I think we could do better.
