Carpenter and Co. has spent the last month helping area residents realize their dreams and get free tickets for a dream date.
The comfort cushioning magnate teamed up with the Virginia based public relations firm Hodges Partnership, to bring their line of expert sleep products to a larger market. The companies’ journey landed them in Stephenville, a town that has both big dreams and a big name.
Singer/songwriter Jewel, who lives in Stephenville, is set to perform at a community picnic as the conclusion to the Sleep Better, Dream Better tour.
Stephenville residents have had a month to tour the Sleep Better, Dream Bigger showroom, which is set up at the Oxford House, and to get tickets to the community picnic Thursday night at City Hall in City Limits. Those who take the 15-20 minute tour are also treated to a new pillow.
Many sleep products are offered by the company, including mattress toppers, pillows and other foam products, which are on display in the showroom. Sleep aficionados better hurry in though, because today is the last day for the showroom to be open and the last day to get two free tickets to Jewel’s picnic performance.
The concert will be preceded by a dinner, served at 5:30 p.m. and the festivities will wrap-up at 8:30 p.m. with a drawing for a sleep makeover.
The showroom is open today from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. For more information on the Sleep Better, Dream Bigger project, log on to www.sleepbetter.org.
