Thursday, Aug. 16, will be a busy night in the City Park with a little something for everyone. The annual Erath County United Way Fish Fry will be from 5:30-8 p.m. under the large pavilion. The fish will be prepared by the Stephenville Knight of Columbus which, according to United Way coordinator Jo Nell Richardson, will be wonderful.

You can come enjoy your fish in the park, or there will be to-go plates available. Tickets are on sale now at several local businesses including, Stephenville Chamber of Commerce, First Financial Bank, First National Bank of Dublin, TexasBank, Town and Country Bank, and Citibank. Adult tickets are $8, children ages 5-10 are $4, and children under 5 get to eat for free. Tickets can also be purchased at the gate on the night of the fry.

Representatives from several local agencies ECUW helps support will be at the park to give people in the community a better understanding of what the United Way does.

Everyone is invited to come out and enjoy fish and great music. The TexStar Ford Summer Concert featuring Robert Earl King will follow the fish fry.

“We really hope that everyone can come out and help support us and our many agencies,” said Richardson.
