Stephenville’s downtown brick streets will soon be repaired.
Beginning Thursday, work crews will remove “patches” on brick streets near City Hall and then place “Thurber” bricks in the appropriate spots, said Drew Wells, director of community services for the City of Stephenville.
“There’s going to be some disruption in traffic flow,” Wells said, noting that crews will be erecting barriers to move traffic around work areas.
The project is expected to take two-and-a-half to three weeks, depending on the weather, Wells said.
The work will start near Columbia and McNeill and then proceed on College, on Virginia, at Columbia near Washington, and finally end on Mason.
