Two men have been arrested in separate incidents on charges of indecency with a child.

Federico Maldonado, 46, was arrested at his Lingleville residence Tuesday by Erath County sheriff's deputies.

Maldonado was charged with two counts of molestation involving two girls under the age of 14. The incidents allegedly occurred earlier this month. His bond was set at $30,000 for each count. He has been released from the county jail.

Maldonado worked as a dairy hand in Lingleville, authorities said.

Meanwhile, authorities in Sulphur Springs arrested Alejandro Luna Rodriquez, 21, on warrants issued in Erath County. Rodriquez was charged with one count of indecency with a child under the age of 17 that allegedly occurred in July. He posted a $15,000 bond and has been released.

The cases will now be referred to the grand jury for indictment, Investigator Donnie Hensley said.

“These kinds of cases are a priority to the Erath County Sheriff's department and we will diligently pursue justice for the victims, Hensley said.
