Dublin Independent School District Superintendent Roy Neff said school board members will learn the guaranteed maximum base price of the new Intermediate School Tuesday evening.

Seldaco is expected to give a report concerning the price along with alternate upgrades, which will be made available.

Neff said one section of second grade is out of compliance with the state mandated maximum class size of 22.

“We have four sections with 22 students and one section with 23, Neff said. He said he will recommend that the district apply for a waiver regarding the issue.

Neff said he budgeted $70,000 for a new school bus and thought he had room for cushion but recently learned the bus price is closer to $80,000. Therefore, he will be seeking an amendment to the budget for the bus purchase.
