Because the Stephenville Independent School District used one of its “Bad Weather Days” this past week, students will have a regular school day on Monday, April 9.

SISD Superintendent Dr. Darrell Floyd said the 2006-2007 school calendar incorporated two “snow days” - April 9 and May 7.

“If we don’t have to use our other bad weather day, this will still give students and parents a three-day weekend at Easter (April 6, 7 and 8) and a three-day weekend in May (May 5, 6 and 7),” Floyd said.

At least four inches of snow was reported in Stephenville on Wednesday.
