E-T Staff Report
Employees at Saint-Gobain’s Stephenville plant will join 207,000 co-workers around the world today to mark Saint-Gobain’s third International Environment, Health & Safety Day.
The aim of the event - which will take place in all 54 countries in which Saint-Gobain has locations - is to recognize the importance of the environment, health and safety in the workplace.
“This day is a great opportunity for us to come together as part of the Saint-Gobain community and reaffirm our collective commitment to safeguarding ourselves, our colleagues and our environment,” said Stephenville Plant Manager, Darin Barton.
Activities at the Stephenville plant include a forklift rodeo, fire department demonstration, employee health fair, random drawings, and T-shirts will be distributed to all employees. Employees who also participated in the Walk Across Texas Challenge will also be recognized.
