The PBR World Finals began in Las Vegas last weekend with three rounds of action at Mandalay Bay. All three rounds were telecast on Versus (603 on Direct TV) (151 on Dish Network) not available on Northland Cable.

The final performances begin today, the first of four competitions with the final performance on Sunday afternoon at 3 p.m. (The Final performance will be repeated at 8, but the best choice is the 3, because the Dallas Cowboys play Philadelphia at 7, and this is double-barrel excitement since Stephenville's Kevin Kobb was drafted by the Eagles.)

Bull-Riding finals on Friday and Saturday nights van be viewed beginning at 8 p.m.

Justin McBride, who has been amazing all year and went into the finals with a very comfortable point lead, has been bucked off all three of his finals' bulls and could very well walk away without a championship if this trend continues. He came to Mandalay Bay with 11,505 points over J.B. Mauney's 9,777.25. After last weekend's competition, that lead has been cut and now Mauney has 10,253.25 with Guilherme Marchi who scored 90.75 on Firewater in Round 2 and collected $20,000 in the bargain, now showing 9,940.50 points. Marchi has ridden all three of his bulls to Mauney's two and with McBride's three consecutive buck-offs, the race narrows.
