E-T Staff Report

After working at FMC Technologies for 42 years, John Moore recently announced that he will retire on May 30. His optimistic attitude and commitment to FMC Technologies and the commmunity has touched many of lives. In honor of his commitment and fulfilling his request, an endowed Nursing scholarship to Tarleton State University has been established. As part of Harris Methodist Erath County Hospitalís board of directors, Moore recognizes the need to continually improve the hospital and encourage students to pursue careers in nursing. The goal is to raise $100,000.

To raise money for the scholarship, a dinner and auction will be held at 6 p.m., June 14 at the TSU Barry B. Thompson Student Center Ballroom. A donation of $100 per attendee is requested. A few auction items include a one night stay for five at Greystone Castle for a round of sporting clay and catch and release fishing; a two-person half day guided quail hunt, as well as a Beretta 687 over and under shotgun.

For dinner reservations, call FMC Technologies at 254-968-2181. To donate to the fund, mail checks to: Office of Development, T-Box 0260, Stephenville, TX 76401.

Donations can also be made directly to the Tarleton Office of Development by calling 254-968-9769. For every FMC employee who donates more than $25, FMC will match the gift dollar for dollar.
