On Friday, March 13, about 10:20 a.m., a male suspect armed with a handgun entered and robbed Members Trust Federal Credit Union, located at 2311 Northwest Loop in Stephenville.
The suspect entered the Credit Union and forced employees into the main room of the building. The suspect then forced an employee at gunpoint to remove an undisclosed amount of money from the teller drawer.
The suspect is described as heavyset (250-300 pounds), between 5’11” and 6’02”. The suspect was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, light colored Wrangler jeans, black athletic shoes, sunglasses and a blue bandanna covering his face. The suspect was armed with a semi-automatic handgun of unknown caliber. The suspect left the Credit Union traveling in a 2003-05 Black Chevrolet Trailblazer or GMC Envoy.
