Picture yourself surrounded by an array of beautiful and unique items for sale. Then imagine the smell of Zonta burgers and the sound of laughter filling the air, transcending you into the holiday spirit - a place where good will, happiness and excitement abound.

If that sounds appealing to you, then head to the Recreation Hall Friday and Saturday, where that - and a whole lot of fun - will take place during the 45th Annual Arts, Crafts and Gift Show.

The annual event, sponsored by the Zonta Club and the Stephenville Parks and Recreation Department, has become the unofficial kick off to the holiday season, with hundreds of people flocking to the event each year to get a jump on their holiday shopping.

And this year's event is sure to please. According to event coordinator Traci Riggs, 80 vendors will take part in the show selling jewelry, woodwork, homemade goodies, candles, clothes, paintings and much, much more.

The two-day event will be open from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday.

Riggs said the show will feature vendors who have participated in the past, as well as several new ones.

"Many of the same friendly faces will be back for this year's show, but we also have some news ones including a vendor selling doll cases  and trinket trunks, and others selling handcrafted jewelry, quilted items and children's accessories. There will definitely be something for everyone," Riggs said.
