The Bosque River Chapter of Daughters of the Republic of Texas will celebrate Texas History Month with a program by Robert E. Hollmann on “Women of the Alamo”. The program will be presented on Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at 2 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Stephenville.

Hollman, a graduate of Texas Tech University, is an award-winning teacher, a lawyer, a published author and a playwright. He was selected Best West Texas Author in 2005 for his book about Davy Crockett. He is also a Life Member of the Sons of the Republic of Texas. He was selected for the Heritage of Odessa Community Statesman Award for the Arts in 2016. Hollmann will have copies of his books for sale after the meeting.
