The Cross Timbers Fine Arts Council (CTFAC) is proud to announce an exhibition of artwork by Josey Butler and Blu Dornan in honor of rodeo heritage at the Clark Regional Airport, located at 1050 Airport Road in Stephenville.

The exhibit, titled “Ode to Rodeo,” is on display through Nov. 1.

Both featured artists create work that is inspired by Western and rodeo culture.

Butler, a mixed medium artist that paints in an abstract style, states that "everything I paint comes from moments and feelings. Whether it's a great bucking horse or a crossfire that shouldn't have worked in the roping pen, I am liable to paint it. My family are musicians, we are all artists at heart. I just choose a different way of expressing myself."

Dornan, who utilizes traditional methods in pen and ink, watercolor, and graphite, thinks that displaying their artwork together will create a complementary contrast that is intriguing to look at.

There will be a reception from 5-7 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 23, at Clark Regional Airport.
