A medical emergency at Splashville Saturday afternoon triggered staff to activate an emergency action plan.

“The incident was not water-related and the person was stabilized by Stephenville EMS,” a statement from the city reads. 

The water park reopened at 2 p.m.

The statement praised the staff’s quick actions.

“Their quick and efficient response partnered with the Stephenville Fire Department resulted in a positive outcome. A thank you also goes out to the understanding people who were attending Splashville who were kind and empathetic to the situation,” the statement says.
