An Erath County grand jury indicted 15 people this week, the majority of which are connected to drugs. Out of the 28 offenses the grand jury considered, 12 were related to possession, manufacture or delivery of an illegal substance.

Those indicted include: 

• Matthew Alexander Aquirre for manufacture or delivery of a substance.

• Jose Daniel Cervantes for possession of a substance.

• Case Shadden Christian for possession of a substance

• James Owen Coots for manufacture or delivery of a substance.

• Clinton Edward Ferguson for possession of a substance.

• Edward Reginald Gaunichaux for theft or more than $2,500.

• Jasmine Shauntae Herrera for evading arrest, two counts of endangering a child and possession of a substance.

• Carlos Antonio Medina for possession of a substance.

• Jason Joe Montez for possession of a substance.

• Ivan Emanuel Renteria for manufacture or delivery of a substance. 

• Walter Byron Sexton for tampering or fabricating evidence and two counts of assault on a public servant.

• Pablo Torres Jr. for assault, tampering with a witness and obstruction or retaliation. 

• Chelene Ann Trimmier for possession of a substance.

• Cesar Vazquez for assault, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm by a felon.

• Jake Hardy Whittenberg for possession of a substance.
