The Stephenville Fire Department will continue its decade-long tradition of giving back when they host its annual Christmas toy drive from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday at Walmart.

“This is something we have done for many, many years,” said Lt. Gregg Schrumpf. “It’s a way for us to give back to this community.”

Residents are asked to drop off a new, unwrapped toy for any age to the firefighters at the front of the store where a Stephenville fire truck will be parked.

Monetary donations will also be accepted.

The toys and money that are collected will be passed on to the Stephenville Optimist Club to be dispersed.
