There will be no shortage of fun this weekend with a slew of great happenings taking place across the area. Here is a look at our favorite 5!
1. Threads of Texas Quilt Show
Stop by St. Mary’s Catholic Church from 9 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday for the Threads of Texas Quilt Show. There will be concessions, a raffle and door prizes. Admission is $7 with a can of food.
2. Cars & Coffee at the Courthouse
Start your Saturday with a free classic car show, coffee and donuts with your neighbors from 7-10 a.m. at the Erath County Courthouse.
3. Last farmers market of the year
Head to the downtown plaza from 9 a.m.-noon Saturday for the last farmers market of the season. Browse and purchase fresh fruits, vegetables, plants, baked goods and other homegrown items.
4. 5K color run
The 6th annual color chaos 5K and fun run benefiting the Stephenville Education Foundation will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday. The cost to enter the 5K is $35 and the cost for the 1-mile fun run is $25.
5. CTFAC yard sale
The Cross Timbers Fine Arts Council is cleaning out its closets and will host a yard sale from 8 a.m.- 2 p.m. Saturday at 204 River North Blvd. Stop by and see what treasures are for sale. Proceeds benefit the organization’s capital campaign.
