The Christian Women’s Job Corps is preparing to host its first-ever parking lot sale.
The two-day event, which takes place from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday at the corner of N. Park and Live Oak streets in Dublin, will include a variety of items like clothing, toys, books, electronics, baby items, DVDs, bedding and linens.
“We are also having a Christmas in July sale,” said thrift store manager Leona Cody. “We are going to have a tent set up as well as a Christmas tree and lots of decorations. We are really excited about this.”
Cody said on Friday there will be $5 grab bags of clothing and Saturday will feature $5 grab bags of select items like toys, clothing and baby items.
“Saturday is going to be our big day,” she said. “We are also going to have lots of items one-half off. We hope lots of people come out to see us. It’s going to be a great event.”
The CWJC is part of Dwelling Place Ministries.
Its purpose is to provide life skills for women taught in a Christian setting. They offer free classes beginning in September.
