Stephenville residents get excited when it comes to new restaurants, and in the past few months they have enjoyed the opening of Enoki Sushi and Panda Express.
And on Monday, the long-awaited Burger Joint at Graham Central Station is set to open at 11 a.m.
Stephenville attorney and former city councilman Boyd Waggoner is opening the restaurant and says it will specialize in old fashion hamburgers, fries, shakes, chicken tenders, salads and wraps.
The Stephenville City Council recently approved a rezoning for alcohol sales so beer and wine will be added to the menu soon as well.
“I bought the old filling station about two years ago with the intent of opening this restaurant,” Waggoner said.
The restaurant plays on the name of the former gas station - Graham Central Station - and will include indoor and outdoor seating and a fireplace.
The Burger Joint at Graham Central Station is located, of course, on Graham Street.
