Pat is a three-year-old pit mix who didn’t get the best present on Christmas Day last year, instead, she was brought to the Erath County Humane Society where she has remained while waiting for a good home.
“She loves toys. She will usually meet us at the gate with a toy, so she loves to play,” said ECHS executive director Diane McCoy. “Pat does not like other dogs, so she will have to be the only dog in the household. But she loves all people.”
Pat is kennel trained and McCoy thinks she is also spayed.
“She’s barked herself horse here and has been here a long time,” McCoy said. “She has great potential and for the most part is an easy keeper.”
