The wait is over.
Enoki Sushi will open its doors at 11 a.m. Wednesday to begin serving lunch for the first time.
“Everything is ready and we are looking forward to serving Stephenville,” owner Dongdong Duan told the E-T.
The Japanese-style restaurant will serve a variety of sushi rolls, bento boxes and teriyaki, tempura and hibachi entrees.
The restaurant, located at 100 Wolfe Nursery Road Suite 198 next to Paradise Pools and Burke’s, opens at 11 a.m. and will close from 3-4:30 p.m. to prepare for dinner.
The restaurant will begin serving sake, Japanese beer and wine in May.
“We are still waiting on the TABC license,” Duan said. “But you can bring in wine and beer and try the sake for free.”
In January, the city council approved Duan’s request to rezone the property from retail and commercial district to restaurant-alcoholic beverage service.
