Stephenville High School junior Blake Been was selected to represent the school at Danceline Productions USA elite trip at Disney World in Orlando, Florida this week.
“Students were evaluated on their dance technique, ability to learn and perform choreography and overall positive attitude,” Stings Director Kimberly Kelsey said. “Blake is among 20 dancers and family members from high schools around the state of Texas who had the privilege of joining the Danceline staff and take on Disney World.”
Been will be able to attend a master dance class, backstage tours with Disney performers and explore entertainment and adventure.
“Earlier this semester Stingerettes Tyra Boudreaux, Macy Hall, Andie Meraz and Carly Sanders traveled with Danceline to New York City to see Broadway shows, take mater dance classes and tour the Metropolitan Museum of Art,” Kelsey said. “They all join the ranks of the many other Stingerettes alumni who have participated in these trips in years past. The Stingerettes are proud of these girls for their talent and dedication and know they will represent SHS with pride.”
