The weekend is coming with some fun holiday events across the Stephenville area.

1. “The Mystery of the Christmas Star” holiday show

Round up the family and join Tarleton State University’s Planetarium when it holds “The Mystery of the Christmas Star” holiday show at noon Friday, Saturday and Sunday with another showing at 7 p.m. Saturday at the planetarium. 2. Live Nativity Scene

Enjoy a festive evening and help raise funds for local families by attending Lingleville Baptist Church’s Live Nativity Scene open from 6-9 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the church, 21543 N. 3. Tis the Season Holiday Extravaganza

Head to the Erath County Livestock Arena fairgrounds and enjoy lighted hayrides, photos with Santa, reindeer games, cookie and ornament decorating, concessions and more at the Tis the Season Holiday Extravaganza from 6-10 p.m. every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday through Dec. 23.
