Tana is a two-year-old Anatolian mix up for adoption at the Erath County Humane Society and this week’s featured pet.
“She was raised to be a goat dog since she was a puppy and the owners surrendered her after they sold their goats,” said ECHS Executive Director Diane McCoy. “She’s good with other dogs, cats and kids. She’s very, very shy but she’s sweet.”
Tana is spayed and is up to date on her vaccines, including Bordetella.
Tana will be a good family dog and won’t wander off, but isn’t the type to go on a job with you.
“She’s very good inside and she never makes a mess in her kennel,” McCoy said. “She never barks or whines and would make a great pet for some older people who are at home a lot and maybe have grandkids that visit.”
