Erath County United Way is announcing that it has partnered with 17 agencies throughout Erath County.

Agencies requested funding by completing an extensive application that required general agency information, details about how their program or service impacts the community and completed an in-person interview with the budget committees chaired by Blayne Baley and Kathy Hampton-Haynes.

“Our budget committee volunteers have spent countless hours reviewing applications to ensure that contributions made by United Way donors are put to the best use, and seek to improve the lives of all Erath County residents and build a stronger community,” said Lisa Scroggins, ECUW executive director.

The following organizations have been approved to receive United Way funding over the course of the next year: Backpack Buddies, Cross Timbers Family Services, CASA, DAV, Dublin Goodfellows, Erath County 4-H, Erath County Child Welfare Board, Meals on Wheels, Girl Scouts of Central Texas, Habitat for Humanity, HOPE, The Love Basket, Paluxy River Children’s Advocacy Center, STAR Council on Substance Abuse, Stephenville School Supply Project, Tarleton Equine Assisted Therapy and Treehouse After School Program.

The Erath County United Way is dedicated to making Erath County a better place to live, for all of us, by working together to ensure that every individual and every family achieve their full potential through education, financial stability and healthy lives.
