Tarleton is set to open the Lone Star Conference Tournament with a quarterfinals showdown against Angelo State on Thursday at 2:30 p.m. at the Allen Event Center. This marks the second straight season the Texans have faced the Rams in the LSC Tournament after never facing each other prior.

TICKET INFORMATION

Tickets are available through Ticketmaster outlets and Ticketmaster.com, as well as the Allen Event Center box office. Single-session tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students. Tickets are also currently on sale at the Tarleton Ticket Office at (254) 968-1832.

TARLETON IN THE TOURNAMENT

Tarleton is making its 19th appearance in the LSC Tournament and has qualified for the 16th straight season. The Texans are 28-15 all time in the LSC tournament and have the second-best winning percentage in the tournament at .651. The Texans have three LSC tournament titles in program history. Tarleton is the No. 2 seed in the tournament and is 7-4 as the second seed.

TARLETON'S PATH

The Texans are the No. 2 team in the tournament and take on No. 7 Angelo State on Thursday at 2:30 p.m. If the Texans win, they will take on the winner of No. 3 West Texas A&M and No. 6 Texas A&M-Kingsville in the semifinals on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. The other side of the bracket consists of No. 1 UT Permian Basin vs. No. 8 Midwestern State and No. 4 Texas A&M-Commerce vs. No. 5 Cameron.

Tarleton is currently ranked No. 1 in the South Central Regional Poll and is looking to qualify for the NCAA Tournament which takes place March 11-14.
