H-E-B is strengthening its connection with the Stephenville community by initiating plans to remodel the current location at 2150 W. Washington. H-E-B has entered into an agreement to purchase additional land adjacent to the store property to allow for more parking and opportunity to broaden its selection.  The store will remain open during the construction process.

H-E-B first opened the current 45,000 square foot store in 1991 and celebrated its 25th anniversary in August 2016. As more growth continues in the area, the company decided a redesigned store would improve the shopping experience. H-E-B is adding nearly an acre to encompass the store expansion and additional parking.

This significant investment in the store will allow for expanded departments, new products, additional services and most importantly, MORE low prices to provide the surrounding community with an unparalleled shopping experience.

“We are pleased to share in the growth of this gracious community and give our customers what they deserve – a larger variety of products, more shopping space, and a fresh new look,” said Casie McCauley, H-E-B Store Director. We look forward to reinvesting in this community that has loyally supported us for over 25 years.”

The timeline for the new store construction and opening is dependent upon the land engineering research and store design process which will take more than a year to complete and will determine square footage, parking lot and store features as well as tenant availabilities.
