No. 15 Tarleton travels to UT-Permian Basin for a chance to win the program's fifth LSC title. The Texans and Falcons tip-off on Thursday, Feb. 23 at 7:30 p.m.
The Texans hold a one-game lead in the LSC standings over UTPB with two games to go. If the Texans top the Falcons on Thursday, they will be the outright LSC champs.

The Voice of the Texans, Byron Anderson, will be calling the play-by-play for Tarleton basketball this season. THE OPPONENT: UTPB
UTPB is 21-5 on the season and second in the LSC with a 12-4 record. The Falcons are 10-1 at home and have won two straight games. UTPB is averaging 89.7 points per game and giving up 78 points to opponents. The Falcons are led by Daeshon Francis, who is scoring 18.5 points per game. Johnnie Lacy (15.6), James McPherson (14.7) and Josh Morris (10.6) also average double figures in points. Sammy Allen leads the team in rebounds with 11.2 and Lacy leads in assists at 3.6.
THE SERIES: UTPB
Tarleton leads the all-time series with UTPB 6-1 since the series begin in 2006. All the games have been played in Stephenville.
