1. Free Homeowner Turfgrass seminar

If you’re looking for a little help with lawn management before spring, get over to the Texas A&M AgriLife Research Center from 2-4 p.m. today for a free homeowner turfgrass seminar. Topics will be presented by Erath County Master Gardeners and will include pre-emergence, soil fertility, mowing heights and more. For more information visit erath.agrilife.org.

2. SHS Project Graduation sheet sale

Get yourself a new set of luxury sheets and help raise some money for Stephenville High School’s 2017 Project Graduation from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday in the SHS lobby. The sale will feature 1,500 thread count complete sheet sets with pillowcases in 14 beautiful colors and six sizes. 

3. Cowboy Trade Days at Capital Hatters

4. National Love Your Pet Day

If you have a furry family member you’re looking to get vaccinated or microchipped, get over to Pet Supplies Plus between 10 a.m.-1 p.m. as P.A.W.S. and Green’s Creek Veterinary Clinic host low cost vaccines and microchipping in honor of National Love Your Pet Day. 5. Spaghetti supper benefiting Elks Lodge

Enjoy a hearty meal while raising funds for Stephenville Elks Lodge at the spaghetti supper event from 6-8 p.m. Saturday at the lodge (1560 W. Highland). The meal will be $5 per person and will include spaghetti, garlic bread, salad, assorted desserts and drinks. Attendees can also bring soda, beer or wine if preferred.
