Both Stephenville soccer programs will try and defend their Knights of Columbus Challenge of Champions titles from last year with early games this morning.

The Honeybees find themselves in Pool A alongside Everman, Lorena and Waco Connally.

Their first game today is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. against Connally on Field A and they will wrap up play at 2:30 with a match against Lorena.

Pool play for the Honeybees will conclude Saturday at 9 a.m. when they play Everman.

Moving to the boy's schedule, the Yellow Jackets open the tournament today at 10 a.m. against Saginaw and play again today at 4 p.m. against Lorena.

Since the boy's tournament is made up on six teams, two pools of three, the standings following Friday's games will decide what time the Yellow Jackets continue play Saturday.

All matches will be played at the Stephenville Soccer Complex and proceeds from the tournament also go to support the Stephenville High School boys & girls soccer programs, as well as the local Stephenville Soccer Association.
