A one-vehicle accident that occurred on State Hwy. 220 Tuesday afternoon in Erath County resulted in the death of an Aledo man.
The driver was Joshua Harbuck, 36, a pharmacy representative, and was pronounced dead on the scene by Justice of the Peace Judge Shawnee Bass.
The passenger, Dean Papaliodis, 35, a physician, was not injured in the crash.
“One vehicle, Ford F-250 truck traveling North on SH 220, lost control on the wet roadway and skidded off the east side of the road and rolled,” TxDPS Staff Sgt. Dub Gillum released in a report. “The vehicle came to rest on its roof. (Harbuck) was traveling from Austin to Fort Worth on business.”
Both men were wearing their seat belts.
The scene was investigated by Stephenville Texas Highway Patrol Trooper Chance Emsminger.
