An Erath County grand jury has indicted 12 individuals, including one man for indecency with a child by exposure; a third degree felony.
Curtis Lee Dudley, Jr., 53, was arrested in October after he allegedly committed the offense.
“The father of John, 8, (pseudonym) met with Officer James at the Stephenville Police Department in reference to John possibly having been sexually assaulted,” the case affidavit states.
The defendant accidentally called John’s mother while the two were at Dudley’s house.
“The mother then heard the defendant making comments about people on the television being ‘gay,’” the document states. “The conversation alarmed John’s mother so she went and picked John up at the defendant’s house. John told his mother the defendant had taken his penis out in front of John and was touching it.”
The incident allegedly occurred in Dudley's home while his wife was at the store.
Dudley is being held in the Erath County Jail on a $50,000 bond.
