The Yellow Jackets will have to wait at least one more to notch their first win of the season after being defeated by a hot shooting Graham team Monday afternoon.

After the first quarter Stephenville trailed the Steers, but only by a manageable four point deficit. The second quarter was what ended up being Stephenville's kryptonite after their shooting, especially from three point range went ice cold.

In the second quarter alone, Graham managed to outscored Stephenville 23-7 while taking a comfortable 35-15 lead into the locker room at halftime.

With an already large lead, Graham held Stephenville at bay in the game's final 16 minutes as the Yellow Jackets struggled to find any kind of rhythm offensively resulting in a 68-39 loss.

Statistically, Clay Krause led Stephenville offensively with seven points, while Easton Jones added another six points.

With the loss, Stephenville is now 0-2 on the season, but have an opportunity to pick up their first win tomorrow when they travel to take on Springtown at 7 p.m.
