Tarleton State University will close for the Thanksgiving holiday beginning at noon on Wednesday and reopen for normal business on Monday, Nov. 28. Several departments and facilities, however, will have modified hours to serve students during the holiday weekend.

All university offices will be closed on Thursday and Friday.

The Dick Smith Library on the Stephenville campus will be open from 7 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Nov. 23, and remain closed through Sunday. Full services at the library resume at 7 a.m. Monday, Nov. 28.

Tarleton’s Recreational Sports Center will remain open until 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 23, and reopen to clients from 4 to 11 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 27. Normal operating hours, 6 a.m. to 11 p.m., resume Monday, Nov. 28.

The Barry B. Thompson Student Center will close at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 23, and remain closed until 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 27. The Tarleton Post Office, located in the TSC, closes at noon on Wednesday, Nov. 23, and reopens for business at 9 a.m. Monday, Nov. 28.

The Tarleton Dining Hall closes at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 23, and reopens at 4:30 p.m. for evening meal service on Sunday, Nov. 27. All retail locations, including the TSC’s Texan Star Food Court, Study Grounds Café in the library, and the C-Store will be closed Wednesday through Sunday. All retail locations resume normal operating hours on Nov. 28.

Tarleton’s Police and Parking administrative offices will be closed from noon on Wednesday, Nov. 23, through Sunday, Nov. 27, but university police will continue regular patrol shifts throughout the holiday weekend.
