Complete your Thanksgiving feast with one of Stephenville Masonic Lodge’s cajun-spiced or original turkeys they’ll be frying up bright and early the day before Thanksgiving.

The lodge has held onto this tradition for 13 years now, selling each turkey for $44.99 with proceeds going toward local scholarships.

“The turkeys will be ready for pickup anywhere from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday (Nov. 23),” said Paul Grubbs, a junior warden with the Masons. “We are cooking 160 turkeys so people need to order as soon as possible because when they’re gone, they’re gone.”

Home delivery is available for an additional $5.

The Eastern Star will also host a bake sale at the lodge Wednesday.

“They’ll be selling pies, cakes and cookies,” Grubbs said.

The lodge typically sets up around 20 deep fryers and cooks the turkeys for about three and a half minutes per pound.

You can place your order by calling 965-4175.

The Masonic Lodge is located at 244 S. Columbia Street.
