STEPHENVILLE – Jordyn Keamo was named the top setter in the Lone Star Conference after leading the TexAnns to back-to-back road wins over Western and Eastern New Mexico to close out the regular season.

Keamo dished out 51 assists and led the team with a .400 hitting percentage from the setter position with five kills on 10 attempts. She also added eight digs and an ace for weekend.

The road wins over Western and Eastern New Mexico made Tarleton the first team in the Lone Star Conference this season to win both games of the New Mexico road swing. Led by Keamo, Tarleton rallied from a 0-2 hole against the Mustangs in Silver City Friday and then swept Eastern New Mexico in the final game of the regular season Saturday in Portales.

In addition to this being her second consecutive weekly honor, this is the third league honor for Keamo this season.

Tarleton earned the No. 2 seed in the Lone Star Conference Championship Tournament and will face off with Western New Mexico in the quarterfinals Thursday at 2:30 p.m. in the Junell Center at Angelo State.
