Cross Timbers Family Services is a local organization that assists victims of violent crime and domestic violence and they are currently hosting a decorated Christmas tree raffle with proceeds going to that cause.

"We are raffling off a fully-decorated Silver Slim, 7’ tall and 45” wide Christmas tree and matching 26’ wreath. The tree is on display at TexasBank," said CTFS Executive Director Jodee Lucero. "The tree is valued at $1,000. Decorations were donated by University Flowers.”

“The tree will be delivered to the raffle winner on Thursday, December 1, or if the winner lives outside Erath or surrounding counties, delivery or pickup will be arranged,” Lucero said.

Tickets can be purchased for $10 from Cross Timbers Family Services, the Empire-Tribune, TexasBank or from any board member. They can also be purchased online at www.ctfshelp.org.

The raffle will take place on Wednesday, Nov. 30.
