STEPHENVILLE – For the second time this season, Jordyn Keamo has been named the top setter for the week by the Lone Star Conference – this time after leading Tarleton to back-to-back sweeps of Midwestern State and Cameron.
Keamo passed out 74 assists in six sets for an average of 12.33 assists per set in Tarleton's final home stand of the year. She dished out 35 against Midwestern State and 39 against Cameron as her offense landed kills at a .343 percentage for the weekend.
She also had 20 digs, six aces, and a block for the week. She also had a double-double effort against the Mustangs Friday with 35 assists and 12 digs.
Keamo and the TexAnns will wrap up the season with a western road trip this weekend for a Friday night visit to Western New Mexico before stopping in Portales, New Mexico Saturday for an evening showdown against the Greyhounds to wrap up the regular season.
Tarleton is currently two games ahead of Texas A&M-Kingsville and Texas A&M-Commerce in the LSC standings. One more TexAnn victory over the final two games would secure Tarleton the No. 2 seed in the LSC Championship Tournament, which is scheduled for November 17 in San Angelo.
