The leader of the Stephenville offense junior quarterback Easton Jones showed his worth Friday night when the Yellow Jackets won their first game of the season and likely couldn't have done so without their signal caller.
Jones had a spectacular game statistically, including going 17-21 through the air for 309 yards and three touchdowns. He also ran the ball seven times for 53 yards and touchdown.
"That was probably Easton’s best game of the year, controlling and running the offense," said Stephenville head football coach Greg Winder. "He did a lot of things well in the passing game, but he does other things that other people don’t see, like communication with the linemen and receivers. He did a great job running our offense."
