Another life was Thursday in an accident that occurred on a dangerous stretch of highway that has claimed several over the past few years.
Dustin Lee Mims, 35, was traveling north on Hwy. 281 in a 2013 Ford F-360 truck when he swerved from the right lane into the left, according to a DPS accident report, sent by Staff Sgt. Dub Gillum.
The reports states that Mims was reportedly driving erratically. He was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene by Justice of the Peace Shawnee Bass.
The accident report states that Mims was a Dublin resident but his Facebook page says he lived in Stephenville and was self-employed.
Friends and family have posted several messages expressing their grief.
