The Stephenville Police Department has released parking restrictions that will go into effect Monday around the Tarleton State University campus to help with vehicle congestion in the area.
“The following parking schedules will be applied to Vanderbilt St., Neblett Ave., Cain Ave., and Jones St.,” the SPD wrote in a release. “The enforcement of existing parking restrictions will better control overflow parking around the university and ensure that first responders can provide emergency services. Currently, fire and ambulance services may not be able to effectively respond to these areas due to vehicle congestion.”
On Monday there will be no parking on the east side of the street in the 600 and 700 blocks of Neblett Ave.; the east side of the street in the 600 and 700 blocks of Cain Ave.; the south side of the street in the 1000, 1100 and 1200 blocks of Vanderbilt St.; and no parking on the south side of the street in the 1000, 1100 and 1200 blocks of Jones St.
All normal parking schedules and no parking zones will go into effect upon the opening of the Bosque Crossing parking garage.
