STEPHENVILLE - Katelin Huckabee was recognized by the Lone Star Conference as the Cross Country Runner of the Week after her performance at the Bob Gravett Invitational.

Huckabee started her senior season off in dominating fashion by winning the meet hosted by Ouachita Baptist, running the 5,000-meter course in 19:47.88. Huckabee helped the defending LSC champions win the overall meet with a score of 16 points. It's the second career LSC weekly award for the Belton native.

Huckabee and the TexAnns will compete at the Texas A&M Invitational in College State on Saturday, Sept. 24.
