The Cross Timbers Fine Arts Council is proud to host the second annual An Evening with Don Edwards concert on Thursday, Sept. 22, at 7:30 p.m. at the Birdsong Amphitheater at the Stephenville City Park. 

The Grammy nominated cowboy balladeer continues to build a legacy which enriches our version of the American West. 

“Edwards has been called the best purveyor of cowboy music in America today by the National Cowboy Hall of Fame,” said Mayor Kenny Weldon. “And we couldn’t agree more, we are so very blessed to present a concert of this caliber in the Cowboy Capital and this will be such an awesome event for our community.”  

The free concert is once again underwritten by Bruner Auto RAM and the city of Stephenville. 

The concert will feature opening act, Kristyn Harris, a two-time recipient of the Western Music Association Female Performer of the Year. At 21 years, she is a two time recipient of the Western Music Association Female Performer of the Year (2014, 2015), and is the youngest in history to receive this award. She was also named 2013 Academy of Western Artists Female Vocalist of the Year. Kristyn is noted for her shimmering vocals solid swing rhythm guitar style, unique songwriting, and award winning yodel.
