Stephenville banker Joe Thompson has been elected president of the board of the Ben Hogan Museum of Dublin.  He replaces Dublin banker Pat Leatherwood who has served in that position since the board was formed six years ago.

The board oversees the operation of the Ben Hogan Museum of Dublin, the largest Hogan museum in the world, paying tribute to the legendary golfer whose childhood home was Dublin.

The board also elected three new directors: Bill Rodriguez of Dublin, and Stephen McKethan and Bob Haschke, both of Stephenville.

The new directors join returning directors Harrell Gilbreath, Charlie Finegan, Willard Mann, Mary Yantis, Bob Bowen, Brady Pendleton, Pat Leatherwood, Kent Crouch, Mike Jones, and Karen Wright, who was reelected board secretary.  All are Stephenville or Dublin residents except Jones of Lawton, Okla.

Advisor directors of the board are Robert Stennett of Fort Worth, executive director of the Ben Hogan Foundation, and Jennifer Alexander of Las Vegas, LPGA teaching pro.
